Raghhhhhh!!! I woke up at like 2 in the morning, stayed up for an hour because I couldnt fall asleep again and then woke up at 645. Took an early shower because I was dirty nasty. Waited for my mother to wake up because the Jays won and I needed Blue Jay gear. I do wish I had it prepped and primed, I should've gotten to work on time. I was pretty good otherwise I think! I thought I was a good boss and worker! I do wish I had another set of hands though, another cook would not

Waking up was not difficult, I feel I didnt even sleep. I got to work first and set up as usual. It's surreal to be there first. Not since I got my car do I think that's been true. The day was kind, easy. I took two reprieves from work to rest my eyes, and I think they did me well. I came alive in the afternoon. I remained on service most of the day which I wouldnt mind if not for my affliction. I dont think the one coughing should be the one customer facing. I got my passpor

// Friday Oct 17 // I bought our coffees, that shit is hella expensive. Like $5 per person almost. // Saturday Oct 18 // Today was brilliant, it feels like I’m playing Minecraft on easy mode. It would be peaceful if not for this invisible enemy that has made me its home. I am in prison in my own body, my weakened strength is my cage. One day soon I will break free of this curse. My cure comes in time. I finally finished The Suicide Squad, after 4 days of watching it. I’m glad

Now, while my victory comes at the preperation of a thousand others, I would still like to revel in it. Today's work day not only as a cook, but as a shift lead felt good. I might have stepped into the building a little later than usual, however I didn't let that take away from the good mood I woke up with. Whatever sickness I still have, I think I sweat 90% of it out last night. My sweat left a shadow of the demon that left. I came in with an attitude so chipper and cheerful

// October 14th, 2025 // Hnnghhhhh! I’m death. I dunno man. Mansur ain’t getting much better at work. Steve dropped by, everyone’s nerves are UP. But they’re right, why is one person doing more work so that the other doesn’t have to? Crazy. I had a croissant, some chips and soup today. I lie in bed and I am starving. I drank all my water, but now I would like some soup and hot cocoa. I’ve been wasting away. I watched that SZA and Keke Palmer movie, egh. Drez said he’s bawling

I woke up sick. I write this as I am ready to die. I need water, soup and electrolytes. None of which are easily accessible from this homemade hospital bed. I don’t know what killed me, I wish it peace. I only want to rest now. Vengeance is for those whom still have a chance at life, those who aren’t fated to fatigue until they are nothing left but ash. I would swear justice for myself if it were an injury of the mind, of the heart or body. But of the spirit? Of the strength

// October 11th, 2025 // I still have the remnants of only hours ago in my head. I had a short rest not a long one. I’m under the effects of sleep deprivation, intoxication, exhaustion, I be stacking my shii up. I woke up to a text from Martin saying he couldn’t make it, Ryan’s would arrive an hour later. I got to Shabins around 1 and we went shopping until 230. Once we got back to the crib I fell asleep. Done dead to the world for an hour and a half. Drez and Chris were the

Work was actually quite nice. It was long as sin but it was an enjoyable Friday; the first in a long time. Maybe it was because I didn’t have to clean, or cook, or-. I did breakfast and people barely came for that, and then I made burgers for people who didn’t want chili. Again, it was an easy day. We had nearly an hour and a bit lunch with bubble tea. Gnarly. I just recall getting out around 530. Home for 6 and recap done by 730. I jumped straight into the game as soon as I

I love not being stressed! picture of the guy breaking his chains Was the day busy? Yea absolutely. Did I do my best? Yea absolutely! I literally put my best foot forward today and let nothing get me down, not to mention that our boss was not overbearing, she was stressed but we were not her outlet. It was 11:30, we were just barely ready, even waiting on roasted vegetables; and yet we persevere. Around lunch, Tita sent Drez and I upstairs to scout the pot luck they had goin

I had a good day at work. My redemption was slightly tarnished by the attitude my boss carried but I don’t blame her. I should be better and she had a lot of her plate. With that said, I am proud of the work I put in today. Soup, Veg, and the main entree by yours truly. Everything tasted good, I think a little more salt on the rice but other than that? Gold. I had a nice lil workout too. Shabin texted, he wants to go out but the boy is far asl and the onus is always on me to
