October 21st, 2025 - Tell Ray and his Nephew to step outside, I just wanna talk.

Raghhhhhh!!! I woke up at like 2 in the morning, stayed up for an hour because I couldnt fall asleep again and then woke up at 645. Took an early shower because I was dirty nasty. Waited for my mother to wake up because the Jays won and I needed Blue Jay gear. I do wish I had it prepped and primed, I should've gotten to work on time. I was pretty good otherwise I think! I thought I was a good boss and worker! I do wish I had another set of hands though, another cook would not go amiss. I don't need help so much as I would like and appreciate help. I CAN do it myself but why would I want to? I feel bad having Mark in the front all the time, if the old bird ever goes her spot needs to be bought out and not replaced by Mark or I. It isn't fair. I understand that we have the most experience doing it, but that just means we can train someone for it. I technically have no claim either way considering I was hired to make salads and now I help run the place. (Into the ground) Mark however was hired to cook, and as part of his agreement, his contract he expects to cook, not make breakfast, not make sandwiches. He can do a lot more for a lot more somewhere else.

Uhhhh, anyway. Every mistake I have ever made in recent years has only reinforced my person. I am always better for it, regardless of how long and painful the healing process is. I think today is my first time making the butter chicken from scratch with no hand holding. it came out pretty good! Except too watery and I let the chicken shred because I had the heat to high when it was simmering. All things I will keep in mind for next time. The chana... oof. Lets not talk about that. Taste was fine, texture was egh.

I picked up Jollibees for my workers, for my colleagues, for my friends. Ran me $120. My whole paycheque today went right into the food, lmao. T'is fine. Kenneth aint got nothing on me. To give is its own reward. Tomorrow is bubble tea. Annjelette ran me some Ray and Nephew as medicine. Whooooooooo, these Jamaicans man. Born and built different. I hadnt eaten yet and that 65% turned me out. Good lord. I was ready to knock out at the club. We stayed late to clean and I knocked out when I got home.

Only a bit of rest before I was at Freyas... cult practices? I dunno, her Girl Guide re-initiation? I missed it last year because I was soooooo sleepy, I couldnt do it to the poor girl again. The process was painless and I'm happy to show support for my sister for something that isnt sport related. I had my mind wander a moment, I policed myself.
