October 22nd, 2025 - Last Rites

There are people who- they should make one lane roads obsolete. What do you mean I missed 3 green lights because the person in front of me wants to go 10 under?? I WANT TO PULL YOU OUT OF YOUR CAR AND SHRED YOUR THROAT UNTIL IT LOOKS LIKE TWIZZLERS I WANT TO TURN YOU INTO A MESS OF RED I WANT TO USE YOUR OWN BROKEN BONES TO INFLICT MORE PAIN TOWARDS YOUR OH SO DESERVING BODY AGHHHHHH. If the light ahead of you is always a 5 minute wait and you watch it turn green. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD MAINTAIN THEIR SPEED??? WHY WOULD YOU NOT GAS PEDAL TF UP SO YOU CAN MAKE THE LIGHT. OH MY GOD I WANT TO KILL YOU.

Ahem- work was actually a lot. Especially for a Wednesday? I don’t think I ever stopped moving and still lunch was not on time. Thankfully however while the kitchen was busy, FCT was not. People rolled in for lunch pretty late and we didn’t have some cataclysmic falling out. I left around lunch to grab our drinks and Marks Wendy’s. I was gone for a while, the drinks took a fat minute and Wendy’s drive through wasn’t fast either. I filled up on my frosty before lunch.

We cleaned the kitchen until 430ish, I said my goodbyes to Mark, and Annjelette. Drez and I made some loose plans to get together for dinner before I leave. I had asked Shabin if he was free this morning to which he responded to, but by the evening the boy was MIA.

I got home and packed, honestly an easy feat. Martin and Ry called around 830, they were already at the Chucks. I admire their punctuality but I knew our other friends wouldn’t get anywhere close to the restaurant until 930. Drez and I got there at the same time. 9 on the dot. We caught up to Martin and Ryan and combined two tables together for 12 people. I passed by Kenneth’s place on the way here, it’s 3 minutes away. If he doesn’t come I WILL be committing hate crimes.

Matthew L was the first to show up, then Bedasse, then Dave and Kenneth came at the same time. We started to order our food, I didn’t know when Raj would come. The night was good! It was just a lowkey gathering but we still had fun, Drez and I mostly used tinder the whole time and Martin Ryan and I were able to catch up. Seeing Ned was nice and I gave him his gifts. I wish I made Middeth laugh, I miss hearing that mf. Every time we’re together tho I feel something lacking? I’m not sure, I need to reignite whatever spark there was when we started the international brown boys group chat.

After dinner we took pics of our cars, HOLY SHIT BEDASSE HAS A NIIIOOICCEEEE AHH CAR. The thing is crazy pretty. Absolutely gorgeous. And apparently the same price as both Drez and I’s cars… might need to trade in…

The night ended with just me and Raj. We said bye to Drez. I think these two are my closest right now. I will miss them.

I got home and stayed up as long as I could hoping to sleep on the plane instead.
