August 12th, 2026

My lover has returned! I picked her up from Pearson after work. Before even, I had to run out of the kitchen before everyone else and I was still late. I will blame it on her flight being early however. It was nice to finally sleep comfortably again.

August 13th, 2026

It was nice to see my cousins! I picked them up from the train station after work and we went for sushi with my mom. It’s a shame that we had so little time, dinner was nice. We watched the Katseye movie afterwards and it helped me realize I don’t love Katseye too much anymore. I’m the same way I fell out with Doja, with (other artist). Their styles have changed so much that I just don’t know them anymore. I can still enjoy their previous works and maybe even their future works but not this current era.

August 15th, 2026

The day was slow, the only things of note were celebrating my baby’s birthday!!! We had El Mariachi for lunch and then went to my place to pack my clothes. When we got back to hers we had a SpongeBob ice cream cake. I let her open her gifts, from what I can tell she liked them but I do wish I had put more of myself into them.

August 16th - 18th, 2026

Awenda is not Killbear. For all the right and wrong reasons. On the one hand, the campsite was REALLY nice. I loved the little alcove we had.  I also loved the lack of mosquitoes, and I especially enjoyed the company. I did miss however, the fancy discovery centre, the cliffs. Though the Awenda beach was gorgeous. I was in it so long my hair has started to fade.

We had burgers that first night, hot dogs / sausages the second. We played games, went swimming, walked, talked. I had a really nice time. I hope my love did too. She spent most of her birthday working. Driving back home, packing up the camping equipment. I wish she leaned on me harder.

We had ice cream cake and shawarma before calling it a night. Happy Birthday Tania, I love you so much!!!
