October 30th, 31st & November 1st, 2025 - Japan Arc Day 6-8: Disney Sea, Disney Land: Halloween, Rest Day

• I woke up and forgot I was in Japan. This place is giving me cultural whiplash. When we started the day I was in Japan, as we entered the park it was like Italy / Spain. Then we made it to an old Americana railway area. At some point we ended up under da sea only for us to now be in the desert.

I’m so exhausted, I can’t even remember what the rest of the day consisted of. We’re at the hotel now and I find it so bizarre. My life is on pause while on vacation. I have a life back home, and this ain’t it. I have my family beside me, yes; but my- my everything isn’t here. Does that make sense? I don’t think I fit the nomadic lifestyle. I love materialism too much, love a good solid home too much, love my cat too much. My coworkers, my friends, my job, my life is back home. It kinda lowkey pisses me off that while my life is on pause, everything still happens without me. The world keeps spinning. I’ll have to go home and play catch up. I saw a picture of Raj in his Best Buy uniform and it upsets me that I can’t visit him. That someone else did it before me… ahem-! How bizarre.

// November 1st, 2025 //

We got up pretty late today. It was nice! Relaxing, it feels like the first time this whole trip I can just… not exist. We had breakfast around 9 and finished at 10. We just sat around in the hotel until 2? I caught up on more Gen V. egh.

Done dropped the ball again today. I thought we’d be able to see CSM: Reze. I misread the website. Brave doesn’t translate the webpage automatically on mobile, so trying to navigate the TOHO Cinemas website was a bit of a nightmare. The only showing with Eng subtitles was at 830 in the morning. I read that there were later showings in the day but those weren’t English subtitles, just regular Japanese showings. We went to Shinjuku for nothing, worse I couldn’t even get the Fujimotor alternate ending drawing, they didn’t have it. All we did was see the Godzilla head and I picked up a lil Nobara Labubu. What. A. Bummer, man. We hit a Can Do where I grabbed more 1/12 accessories. We also ate at a nice restaurant. Sushi time!! I had Wagyu steak sushi. Twas fine. I didn’t want Logan to have any since he wouldn’t appreciate it. HA! As if I’m any better. My pallet ain’t anything. You could give me the greatest cut of the finest animal and I’d just go, “yum!” It’d taste the same as discount meat from Walmart. The steak did melt in my mouth! But I didn’t love the taste.

We got back to the hotel around 9, I slept like 930-1030. I’m wiped. K just texted saying he’d be an hour earlier too. On the one hand, one more hour with Klarence is a blessing I’d sooner kill a man than squander; on the other, I’m going to have to pull the craziest Sukuna Heian Era ass pull Sleep technique / Batman Tibetan Monk micro sleep to achieve today. I’m running at least a 36 hour day with an hour break, MAYBE more if I leave K alone during the day. It’s 1050. I have to leave soon. I wish this ball of despair in me would power my body. If only this negative energy could be just that, energy.
