June 3rd, 2025 - The grass is greener

Today was beautiful! Who was gonna tell me that all the things I love happen in the season I love? Who was finna tell me that eating properly, and exercising and doing cool ish with my car and thinking of other people and nice weather and being outside was gonna make me happy??

The sun was beautiful, the light it provided made the world glow. I neglected the sky because I’ve been appreciating it a lot recently. But the grass? The trees? What a sight to behold, maybe it’s just the fact that it’s Canada (garbage country) so seeing actual plant life made me lose my mind but it was so pretty today!

Work was fine, I think the menu was just easy, and I didn’t have to make soup. I’m actually looking forward to a lot of the stuff I’m making recently. Tomorrow is Argentinian food and I’m gassed. I still need to sit on my promotion. My mother said to do it without thinking, didn’t even give me time to weigh her my reasonings. Bummer, I get she has her own life and all but like, I’m tryna talk to you dude. :/ My cousin should provide more incite hopefully.

Cardio at the gym wiped me, I took it pretty lackadaisical after. From there I went shopping. It’s one of my coworker friends bday tmrw, I went to dollaramma for a card and walked out with $30 worth of ish. I saw these faux wooden deck things and I think they would’ve looked nice as mats for my car if I didn’t already buy mats.

I picked up some Soju, his fave drink is Vodka but… I wanted Soju. I picked up a cake, lowkey I’m hoping some of the ppl wanna go halfsies. I dropped $40 on homeboy, tho he is a very kind person and a good man. I think he’s worth more than $40.

Picked up some stuff for Kimchi and had a riveting time at the pet store. I just looked at the fun coloured fish I watched a mouse run faster than the flash and I saw two red neck slider turtles that reminded me of my own childhood turtles. I- I was a bad owner. Don’t wanna talk about it, only that I was reminded of them.
