June 29th, 2025 - Vancouver Pt 4 - Sea to Sky, Suspension, Swindled

The morning was quick. Tito Arni woke me up to take us to the airport. We loaded the car and picked up Ninang Amanda, from there we took the Sea to Sky Highway towards the Gondola. The highway is insane, I wish I wasn’t driving so I could absorb the view more. I swear BC is just built different. There’s no clouds today so you can see everything. The peaks of mountains a thousand km away, the pristine waters of the Pacific, the tops of trees that rival Toronto towers. Waaoowww, just look at the pictures. My words will never do this beauty justice.

Met up with the cuzz, took some pictures and rode up the Gondola. This place is amazing, no real words.

—- a 45 minute drive later —-

We were supposed to stop at this nice burger place, we’re eating McDonald’s instead bc SOMEONE missed the exit. :/ my day is ruined and my disappointment is immeasurable.

Okay we’re at the bridge now! I’m tired, I have no energy left, I’m also highkey cranky for that reason. The suspension bridge is fine, we kept getting in trouble for shaking the bridge despite the fact that we didn’t??? They had to tell us twice but like we’re literally just walking.

The forest on the other side is pretty cool, gargantuan sky scraper like trees canopy over beautiful wooden pathways that criss and cross through the woods. A treetop trek reveals just how large this place truly is. Looking over the railings you can see the scale of it all, from the top of the trees overhead to the base of the ravine below. I got to see a falcon, hawk and owl. I felt bad, most people looked at the hawk and owl, the falcon was largely skipped over. :,(

Place was nice, wish I was a lil more alive to enjoy it but loved it all the same. What I didn’t love was Logan going “my friend over there thinks you’re cute.” While I’m tryna buy ish at the gift shop. I bought my shii and ran outta there.

Imagine we’re playing Cyberpunk, you know when you arrive at a meeting spot and wait out the time until they arrive? Thats what happened. I got my ahh ready, shaving and dressing up. Drove to the Casino and napped until my cousins pulled up.

THE CASINO WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! Let’s go gambling! Aw dangit. I lost $90. Uhhhh I fear I may have a problem. Cest la vie, I had a good time. Ronic walked out with $15, Nico with $10. I- as I’m typing this I realize Ronic owes me $50. Wait what the-! Anyway phenomenal time, we walked out the casino richer in spirit and took more pics and vids.
