Where is the time going??? I woke up around seven and couldn’t go back to bed. I packed my ish up and then we just loitered until it was time to check out. We picked up Nico and X and took them to our AirBnB. HOLY DAMN YO. Rich mfs live like this?? It’s a mansion, like- I’m tired I can’t properly articulate how pretty this place is, Mayhaps this Pinterest board could help!

So we’re at the mansion, we watch Kpop Demon Hunters. It was good! I really liked it, I was crying the whole 3rd act. Though I think I would’ve been more emotionally invested if I wasn’t being asked a millie questions every second and there wasn’t so much talking in the background and someone wasn’t trying their 5 minute standup.

Anyway, after the movie we went out for Costco and Wendy’s. We ate and then I knocked the hell out until dinner. We met up with the Milcz and Kuya Alvin and Ate Nene at another Japanese place. Nic and I shared a bunch of sushi and then we all walked to a dessert place. I grabbed Green Tea Icecream and started taking pics. I think I got decent candids of everyone.

I had to take the kids home. We passed by a liquor store and I grabbed some tequila for later. X asked if he could have jerky and the cashier just gave it to him??? Insane strat, I gotta respect it. We went to where the Foch Segs are staying so Nic and X could pick up some clothes bc they’re staying over.

Back at the Airbnb. I am wiped. This place is nice but so draining. Like, it’s absolutely not a walking city, if it is I haven’t seen that part yet. Everything feels like it’s 45 minutes away from anything else. The GTA feels like a mega city, it’s got a bunch of places kinda stapled to each other and they’re all different but getting from one to the other is just a simple jaunt.

This place feels like every open world city RPG, a la Saints row, GTA, Cyberpunk, Arkham Knight. Every district feels unique and getting from place a to b shows just how different they are. Additionally, crossing between each area feels like a journey. We had to cross a giant bridge and go through this huge elvish Forest, then go up a mountain to get to our mansion. (Insane sentence)

If we want to go back to Vancouver, on the other side of the map, we gotta make that whole trek in reverse and pass through a giant farmland highway where you can see each city’s skyline, one of them just being a mountain range??? Plus the airport is its own separate island.

This place feels well planned and it’s so pretty, it’s not Toronto where they built a city and then they built a city on top, and then they built a city on top, and then they- In place of that, it feels like someone took time and care for every cm of this place. Fences are replaced with well kept hedges. “Brutalist” concrete buildings are instead colourful and vibrant works of art. Street signs are illuminated, street posts are coloured depending on where you are. The sidewalk isn’t the largest slab of cement, it is intricately carved and placed with purpose and care. This place is beautiful. My only gripe is its weather. A dismal overcast keeps this place from perfection. I long for the sun, Toronto may be absolute dog shit but I don’t have to worry about a permanent rain cloud.

And I’m slacking on water. Everything is so far I don’t wanna drink and then not be able to pee.
