July 3rd, 2025 - Alberta Pt2 - Mostly Uneventful

Today was mostly uneventful. I had wanted to rest from yesterday’s activity and just the non stop action this week has brought. I wasn’t so lucky, my mom had me accompany her around Banff to help run errands until mid day. Then Nico and I got the chance to just roam around. It was okay, everything was far too mahal to try and even entertain the idea of buying ish. We ate ice cream and then I had a decent nap.

I was awoken so we could go to dinner. I’ve never been to Chili’s prior to today. It was aight, I grabbed Fajitas, beef and shrimp. Freya, our mom and I shared a cookie and ice cream and then headed back to our hotel to sleep.

The next morning would be an early one and a busy one, sleep was vital. I barely got an hour. After my shower my sunburn decided it would exact its revenge on me in full force. A thousand hells danced on my skin- no. Under my skin. I itched, I scratched, I tried to claw away this pain. I knew it was a bad idea, I had Freya put the aloe Vera cream on me and prayed. The itch eased a little but the fire still danced.

I tried to sleep, I tossed, I turned. I tried. I was in the bathroom, I was on the floor, I was on the bed. Mama couldn’t sleep either, she loaded up her iPad and started watching Chinese brainrot, it kept me even more. Before long I heard my alarm go off and the next day had started.
