July 12th, 2025 - Superman, Pho, Family

I woke up at 9, 5 hours is plenty. I scooped up the laundry I had started the night prior and put on my superman shirt. I got into my batmobile and drove to the theatre. I- I love Kaya, she's such a fun thing to be in. I should fix her windshield, what an eyesore. But I have no munny. :,c And now I owe $1,700 from my Vancouver endeavour. I get to the theatre around 10:20, they don't open until 11. I read The Death of Superman Omnibus; Infact I've been reading it. I'm almost done I think. It's 11:40. I had to wait for VIP, which for some reason is completely seperate, to open. But! The tickets are bought, no need to fret. I detour to CIBC and have my credit card fixed. Last year, my family and I went to a downtown Manor that ran us a pretty penny I was supposed to pay, I forgot my pin and my credit card has been weird ever since. The clerk has me input a new pin and I'm gold. I detour again to walmart and pick up some chocolates and some sauces for Tito Arni. I see the most beautiful woman ever, I quadruple take. This place has changed since I last stepped foot some decade ago. Zamn. I think the last time I was here I bought my record player; I was either 17 or 18. I get to Foch, Tito feeds me hungry man and we watch an ep of The Bear and an ep of Ironheart. I'll have to rewatch that bear episode, there was a monologue I missed bc Tito doesn't do subtitles and Foch is loud. Ninong Aaron is here, Nico is ready, we leave. Etobicoke V.I.P lowkey, highkey is doo doo water bruh. Like, I get it, it was one of the first ones to pop up and it's def better than a standard theatre but compare it to Oakville V.I.P or Erin Mills and it's dog. BUT!! SUPERMAN!! I didn't cry as many times, I think I was more self concious with Nico beside me, he was kinda yapping during it and I wanted to ppl please so I also partook in the yapping, in the over acting. But man, I love it the same amount as I did the first time I laid eyes. What a sight to behold. We finish and I forget to look at the superman merch, Ninong Aaron leaves and we scoop up Mama. Tito Arman and X already ate, it's just the four of us, we go to Pho. They failed to give Mama the right coke three times, they fail to give Nico the right meal. Mama treats and I fail to tip properly. I was going to tip 15% but when I click custom amount it defaults to dollars so when I input 15 its only $0.15. I fail to notice until after I click "ok" Nico laughs, we make a face at each other and run with Mama as fast as we can. We get back to Foch, I put Mama's disabled parking in the mail, there's a wasp nest above it. I see Nico before I leave, I hear him say "aw man". Joyous, boisterous laughter is made all the better by the company that brings it. Seeing my cousin‘s reaction to things leaves me wheeling, my sides hurting, and my head flung back. I love my family. The rest of the night is a mystery to me... I- don't recall what I did. I think sleep. A better tomorrow. - Dyl
