Bruh. This week has been garbo. This sickness has put everything on pause. No climbing, no gym, I haven’t talked to Sara or Renee, so no Huzz, no money moves made considering I took a day off. This shit was ass bruh.
And then! The morale of the kitchen is in the negatives right now. Our boss pulls one of us into a meeting and in them trying to defend themselves everyone gets called out, so now everyone is mad at them, meanwhile they’re mad they were singled out in the first place. This shit is so-! Mismanaged. People not in the meeting, should NOT know about what happens in the meeting with other people. That’s not how this works. There is no good process or flow state going on for this. So now I don’t even wanna come into work next week because I have no idea what battlefield I’m walking into.
I slept when I got home. Then I unfortunately lost like 2 hours to the scroll. The infinite took me. I think I’m gonna restart Frieren and play Minecraft.

And that I did!! For near most of the afternoon I played Minecraft and watch Frieren. It was good to see the elf again. To relearn her and her adventures, what she and her party both new and old got themselves up to. As for Minecraft, I finally got the last vestiges of my mother’s mountain torn down. All of this occupied the Saturday evening and the Sunday morning.
Saturday morning was used on Percy Jackson Season 2, waooooowww!! What a start, such beautiful translation of the source material makes at to go back and reread the books. I’ve even added the new material to my wishlist. Episodes 1 and 2 cut little out of the show, only that which is largely unneeded to suit the show. They take out the monster attack in the gym in episode 1 as well as the sea horses in episode 2. I’m rather fond of the hypogrifs in that second episode I’m actually quite sad to see them go.
Annabeth and Percy fit their characters so well, their actors do such a great job. I’m excited for the siren scene this season, as well as all the character interactions we’ll have between Percybeth and Clarisse. OH! They beautifully translated the part where she’s trying to hit on the other camper but she’s too awkward to know how so she just sounds like she’s mad. Great stuff. The food guy is a great folly and phenomenal antagonist AND I jumped for joy when I saw Pimento actor. He’s such a jackass in this I love him.
I put a couple hours into Tomb Raider today! In hindsight I should’ve finished up Exp33 but alas, I wanted to watch Frieren and play, Exp33 is entirely one minded. I’m getting the BG3 itch too. Terraria, everything calls to me, I wish to play games. To have fun! Oh my days I hope to have time this holiday season.
I finished up the day reading 40~ chapters of Frieren. I’m puzzled, because the show transforms what is already something so magnificent into a truly timeless work of art. The source material… I find it lacking. The lack of a score, colour, and animated visuals truly take away some of its… magic! Hehehe. It isn’t bad by any means. It just isn’t the same. I think I read up to the point in which they’ll end the season.
Let’s see… I took a nice nap! And when I awoke I found out I’m getting refunded for my Choke Cherry concert because they can’t make it to Toronto… bummer- but also! I wasn’t going!! Because I’m sick!!! So this is a W in my eyes!!! Yahoo!!! I got like $40 back, and then my Roll20 subscription renewed and I lost $150 T~T
I’m going to bed, goodnight.
