I woke up to questions from my brother about our trip. The very one I would be attending in less than 4 hours. The very same I haven’t packed for. I offloaded the work to my mom who in turn came with me to get groceries. It was nice, time spent with my mother is never time wasted. We talked about nothing and walked up and down the aisles. Eventually our time came to a close as we got home. I loaded up the car and we departed.

The drive was easy, boring but easy. Logan played Tyler and Kendrick the whole way, which is fine, but the man has no variety. It’s okay, he’s got more of a music taste than I did at 13. We were the last ones to leave and yet we caught up to Tita rose. She called to tell us we were riding her, I let my foot of the gas a little. As we drew closer to the open area we had to drive over a gravel path, the piece of my car that was falling off last night came down again. I could hear the rocks be scooped up and thrown against my pipes. Annoying. We got to the campsite and the monkeys were already set up.

I had the kids, kinda sorta barely help me set up the tent. I brought my pillows and blankets in so it was like a whole bed. The rest of the day was spent playing and cooking dinner by the fire.
